چکیده

هدف از پژوهش حاضر، بررسی رابطة علّی بین رفتارهای کنترلی مربی، ناکامی از نیازهای روان‌شناختی و به تبع آن، کاهش ارزشمندی ورزش و میل به ادامة ورزش در ورزشکاران نوجوان بود. پژوهش به روش توصیفی و از نوع مطالعات همبستگی انجام شد. 350 نوجوان ورزشکار شهر تبریز (185 پسر و 165 دختر) با دامنه سنی 18-15 سال به صورت نمونه‌گیری خوشه‌ای انتخاب شدند و پرسش‌نامه‌ها را تکمیل کردند. نتایج تحلیل مسیر نشان داد که رفتارهای کنترلی مربی به طور غیر‌مستقیم و از طریق ناکامی از نیازهای روان‌شناختی، پیش‌بین‌کننده مثبت کاهش ارزشمندی ورزش می‌باشد. با این وجود، ارتباط معناداری بین رفتارهای کنترلی مربی و میل به ادامة ورزش وجود ندارد. همچنین، ناکامی از نیازهای روان‌شناختی پیش‌بین‌کننده مثبت کاهش ارزشمندی ورزش و پیش‌بین‌کننده منفی میل به ادامة ورزش می‌باشد. درکل، یافته‌ها بیانگر نقش مهم رفتارهای کنترلی مربی و متغیرهای روان‌شناختی در عوامل مرتبط با مشارکت ورزشی ورزشکاران نوجوان می‌باشد.

The purpose of this research was to investigate the causal relationships among controlling coach behaviors, psychological needs thwarting, and in turn, sport devaluation and Intention to continue sport participation in adolescent athletes. The method of this research was descriptive-correlation. 350 Adolescent athletes of Tabriz city (185 male and 165 female) with age range from 15-18 years old were selected by random cluster sampling and completed the questionnaires. The path analysis results showed that controlling coach behaviors indirectly and through the psychological needs thwarting predicts positively sport devaluation. However, controlling coach behaviors is not related to intention to continue sport participation. Also psychological needs thwarting positively predicts sport devaluation and negatively predicts intention to continue sport participation. Overall, these findings indicate the important role of controlling coach behaviors and psychological factors in sport participation related factors of Adolescent Athletes.
