The present study was a descriptive correlational study. The statistical population of taekwondo playeres with participating experience in the national taekwondo championships and championship history was formed that 336 people (296 girls and 40 boys) were selected by random cluster sampling. Data were collected by using the Vanesa Baneules’ celebrity worship, the Terluin’s psychologically symptoms, Vanesa Baneules’ desire for fame, and Sumers’ maladaptive daydreaming Questionnaire. Data analysis was performed by using Pearson correlation coefficient and structural equation analysis. The results of data analysis showed that psychologically symptoms (Anxiety, depression, worry, physical symptoms) have a positive and significant effect on celebrity worship by the mediating role of desire for fame and maladaptive daydreaming on the national Taekwondo champions.
