Data were analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis based on the structural equation model, composite reliability, average variance extracted, and convergent and discriminant validity.<br />Results: The results of the confirmatory factor analysis showed that question one, as a clear indicator of shame, was removed due to its low factor loading. Once it was removed, there are sufficient fit indices for the four initial proposed factors. Conclusions: These findings provided evidence for the validity and reliability of the 15 questions of this tool.
