Abstract
The main purpose of the present investigation is to investigate whether balance training programs results in improvement of depression and quality of life in individuals whit Parkinson. The study has an experimental design in which two groups with pre and post test measure were included. 20 individuals with Parkinson were randomly divided into two groups: an exercise group and a no exercise control group. Participants of the exercise group participated in a 12 week balance training program. Depression and quality of life were measured by the appropriate tests (BDI-21, PDQL).following 12 week of Balance training program, exercise group showed improvement in depression and quality of life in comparison with the control group. The results of the present investigation indicate that the balance training can be served as a useful and effective treatment in improving depression and then improving the daily life performance and life quality in patients with Parkinson.
