Predicting the success of elite track and field athletes based on the dimensions of patience

Abstract

The present study was designed and conducted to investigate the role of patience dimensions on the success of elite athletics athletes. This research was applied research in terms of purpose and field implementation method in terms of descriptive-correlational analysis. The statistical population of the study consists of all field athletes. The sample size was determined based on the cluster model of 273 elite field runners. Data collection tool included a questionnaire. In order to analyze the data of the present study, the structural equation test was used to examine the research model. The whole process of data analysis was performed in SPSS and AMOS software. According to the results of the table, it can be said that the path coefficient between patience and success in sports among elite runners is equal to 0.36. Also, the statistical value of t (significant coefficient) for these two variables is equal to 5.28 and because these values Is more than 1.96 96 so this relationship is confirmed. In other words, patience has a positive and significant effect on success in sports among elite runners. And as patience grows, so does your success in sports.
