چکیده

پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی تأثیر شدت‌ فعالیت هوازی (شدت کم و متوسط) بر ابعاد خودپندارة سالمندان 60 تا 70 سال انجام شد. آزمودنی‌های آن، 45 سالمند مرد بودند که به‌روش تصادفی در دو گروه آزمایشی و یک گروه کنترل گمارده شدند. پروتکل تمرینی افراد شامل 8 هفته فعالیت هوازی در قالب آزمون یک مایل پیاده‌روی/دویدن راکپورت بود. شدت فعالیت کم تا متوسط نیز با استفاده بلت‌های مخصوصی که به سینة آزمودنی‌ها متصل شده بود، اندازه‌گیری و کنترل شد. تمامی آزمودنی‌ها در مراحل پیش‌آزمون و پس‌آزمون پرسش‌نامة خودپندارة تنسی-2 را تکمیل کردند. نتایج نشان داد در مرحلة پس‌آزمون، اختلاف معناداری بین سه گروه در ابعاد خودپنداره وجود دارد (0.05 P<). نتایج آزمون تعقیبی بونفرونی نیز نشان داد گروه فعالیت با شدت متوسط، دارای میانگین نمرات بالاتر و بهتری نسبت به دو گروه دیگر بود. همچنین، گروه فعالیت با شدت کم نیز دارای میانگین نمرات بهتری نسبت به گروه کنترل بود. براساس نتایج پژوهش، انجام فعالیت هوازی با شدت متوسط، به‌عنوان یک روش مفید برای افزایش ابعاد خودپنداره به سالمندان توصیه می‌شود.

چکیده [English]

The purpose of present research was to investigate the effect of aerobic activity intensity (low and moderate) on self-concept in older adults. The statistical sample included 45 volunteer elderly men with age range of 60-70 years old that divided randomly in two experimental groups and one control group. The exercise protocol consisted of 8 weeks aerobic exercises based on Rockport one-mile walking/running test. With uses specific chest belts, the exercise intensity was evaluated and controlled. All subjects in per and post test stages were completed the Tennessee self-concept scale (TSCS). Results in post-test stage showed that there were significant differences between control and experimental groups in self-concept components (P<0.05). Also, the Bonferroni Post Hoc test showed that the moderate intensity group scores in self-concept components were better than other groups. Finally, the low intensity group scores were better than control group. Based on these findings, the moderate intensity aerobic exercises as a useful method for improve the self concept components among community older adults was recommended.
